How we will make alterations for disabled people
Stevenage Homes provides essential adaptations to suit the needs of disabled people or people with mobility problems. Unless of a minor nature, such as simple rail, all adaptation works need to be referred to Stevenage Homes by social services.
If your needs cannot be met in your current home we will also discuss alternative housing options with you.
How to request an adaptation
If you require a simple rail please contact us on 01438 242666.
If you require any other type of adaptation, such as lever taps, a shower or stairlift, please contact Social Services on 01438 747300 to request an assessment of your needs.
