6th Annual Customer Conference another success

We held our 6th annual customer conference on Saturday. Almost 100 customers attended and shared their thoughts and views about our services and what they see as priorities for the coming year.

Stands provided a wealth of information and goodies for visitors to the conference. 
Nic Bliss, the newly appointed independent tenants’ advisor, attended to give an update on how the Council are deciding how housing services will be provided in the future. Nic’s role is to work with tenants to make sure that their views are heard during the Council’s Housing Options review. Nic will be meeting with tenants over the coming weeks to help them in influence the Council’s decision.  Customers’ shared their views on Stevenage Homes during a Q&A session at the end of Nic’s session.

 Customers told us that their priorities for the coming year were

• A good/ excellent repairs service
• The overall quality of your home
• Offer value for money for your rent/ service charge.

We will be focusing on these areas when we plan our work for 2012 – 13.
