Annual gas safety checks

We would like to remind customers of the importance of letting our gas contractors in for the free annual gas safety check on your boiler and heating system.

The safety check is very important and aims to prevent injury to consumers and the public from either carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning or fire and explosion. Our contactors will write to you when your next inspection is due offering an appointment, you can choose am or  pm but must confirm this with the contractor.

Your tenancy agreement requires that you allow for this work to be carried out.  As well as putting yourself, your family and your neighbours at risk, we may have to take court action to break in to your home if you don’t allow us to carry out safety inspections.  This could end up with us recharging you as much as £1,000.00.

Bright yellow posters will be stuck to the front door of properties where customers have failed to keep appointments.
