Brian Wingate, County Executive Officer for St John Ambulance Hertfordshire said: ‘We are extremely grateful to the residents, staff, friends and family of Hobbs Court for the BBQ they held to support our charity. They raised a very generous sum of money and we will ensure it is put to good use across the county to help us to continue to provide first aid to the people of Hertfordshire.
St John Ambulance receives no Government funding, and is not part of the NHS, so we really do rely on the goodwill of our local communities to fundraise on our behalf. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Hobbs Court for all their effort that went into this fundraising event.’
