‘In Bloom’ winners go Gold

We have again sponsored two categories of this year's Stevenage in Bloom awards.

Congratulations go to Stephen Nicholson whose fantastic work earned Archer Road gold status in the Best Flat Block category and to all the residents and staff at Pitt Court whose combined efforts saw them take gold for Best Sheltered Housing Scheme.

Meanwhile, at the national Britain in Bloom awards, Stevenage won silver in the Small City category for 2008. The winners were announced at a ceremony on 24 September in Chester.

Well done to our winners and to everyone else who took part in this year’s competitions, whose efforts have helped put Stevenage on the map.
