Keeping your home safe

We are committed to keeping your home safe by making sure it receives its annual gas safety check. Over 99.5% of our homes have received this check in the last year.

It is very important that all homes receive their gas safety check annually which is free of charge and must be carried out even if you do not use the heating system or do not have gas at present.  The safety check is to prevent injury from poisonous gasses/fumes, fire or explosion. It is a requirement of your tenancy agreement that you allow access for this work to be carried out.

Our contractors will contact you when your next check is due. If your home has not had a gas safety check in the last year, please contact our Gas Team on 01438 242534. 

Our safety checks and repairs to your gas heating/hot water systems, are carried out by Pargas or P H Jones, depending on which part of the town you live in.  P H Jones is the new contractor who began working with us from 1 October.
