We are recruiting new members to the Customer Scrutiny Panel - do you think you can help?
Our Customer Scrutiny Panel puts customers in the driving seat to challenge us on the quality of our services.
Members of the panel:
- Give an independent view on how we are performing and the processes we use
- Highlight what is good about housing services and what needs to change
- Make evidence based recommendations about how we should improve
The views and recommendations of the scrutiny panel are published regularly so that everyone can see what we are doing well and what we need to do to continue improving.
We are holding a Customer Scrutiny Panel Recruitment Event on Saturday 19 November at the Holiday Inn, St Georges Way. The event will involve working in groups on a series of fun tasks, hearing about the work the panel has carried out so far and meeting existing panel members. Participants that demonstrate that they have the right qualities to members of the scrutiny panel will be invited to join shortly after the event.
Panel members commit to a meeting every two months (at dates and times agreed by panel members) and also have to read documents that will be discussed at meetings.
Members of the panel are volunteers but we reimburse reasonable travel, childcare costs and other out of pocket expenses. You will be given full training and the skills you will develop may benefit your career and personal development.
