Stevenage Homes gets 'So Friendly'

Stevenage Homes is sponsoring the So Friendly category of the Pride of Stevenage Awards.

The award celebrates the difference that kind and caring neighbours can make to people’s lives. It will recognise a person or people who make their neighbourhood a great place to live. It could go to someone who looks after their neighbours, runs errands or uses their skills to help out in other ways. Or it could reward a project that has helped improve or enhance a neighbourhood.

The other categories are:
SoVoluntary  - which recognises an individual who selflessly carries out unpaid work or activities that benefit others in the town

SoSporting - for an individual or group that makes or has made a major contribution to sporting life in Stevenage

SoSharing - will go to a community event, activity or project that has enhanced people’s everyday lives in their local area

SoCaring - for a carer or group of carers.

SoBrave - recognises someone who has overcome adversity, or who has had the courage to face their fears or do something new

SoGreen – will recognise an individual or an organisation such as a school or community group that helps keep Stevenage clean, safe and green
