How to pay your rent
Information on how you can pay your rent and where you can get help and advice on paying your rent.
Rent is payable weekly and may include other regular or communal charges associated with the property.
Paying your rent
Your rent is payable on a Monday, a week in advance. It must also be paid in advance if you pay fortnightly or monthly. You can pay your rent in a number of ways such as at your local Post Office, by Direct Debit, by cheque or debit card, standing order, giro, via the Internet or by telephone on 01438 242345.
Why should I change the way I pay my rent?
From the beginning of July 2013, we have increased the number of days you can pay your rent via Direct Debit from two to four. We now offer payment dates on the 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd of every month. 47.4% of the respondents to our Welfare Reform Survey in November 2012 advised that they would be interested in paying via Direct Debit when Universal Credit is introduced
